Parents & Students



Students must attend their scheduled orientation session. 

Monday, August 3, 2020

7th Grade                      8:30 a.m.

8th Grade                       9:30 a.m.

9th Grade                       10:00 a.m.


Orientation will be held in the junior high gym beginning promptly at the times indicated.  STUDENTS MUST BE IN COMPLETE SCHOOL UNIFORM.  Fees of $30 are due at this time to cover student handbook, school ID & lanyard, and book locker.  Students who drive must purchase a parking permit for $10.  Failure to attend the scheduled orientation will result in a $10 late fee.  Payments may be made by cash, check, or money order.

Orientation for sophomores, juniors and seniors will be held on the first day of school, Friday, August 7, 2020.  Student Registration fees of $30.00 are due at orientation.  Students who drive to school must purchase a parking permit for $10.00.  Payments may be made by cash, check, or money order.

Students and families may request an economic hardship waiver for fees by making an appointment with the principal.  The criteria for economic hardships can be found in the Iberia Parish School Board policy manual (JS).  If the request is denied by the principal, parents may submit a written appeal to the Superintendent



Students are responsible for paying fees in elective courses that require fees.  Fees range from $5 for Science electives to $25 for Industrial Arts electives.  Fees may also be paid by cash, check or money order.  If students do not meet this obligation, they will be referred to the administration and parent will be contacted. 

High school students are assessed a $20 class fee each year in grades 9, 10, and 11.  These fees are to be paid to class sponsors to cover the cost of class-sponsored activities.  These fees accumulate each year that they are not paid.





LHS’s car rider drop off and pick up area is along the drive on Ed Broussard Road. Do not use Main Street as a drop off or pick up area. Please help us keep your children safe by following this procedure.

  • Requests will be processed on Tuesdays and Thursdays
  • Contact the office for a Request Form
  • Return the completed form at least 2 days in advance of the scheduled processing days with the appropriate fee


RECORDS FEES – To defray the costs of printing and postage, the following fees apply:

  • Duplicate Diploma   -  $10
  • Transcripts & Immunizations - $5 per document

Payments must be in the form of Cash, Money Orders, or Certified Checks.  No personal checks accepted.
